This is my second stay in Thraki Palace. As in my first visit, everything was perfect. Specially, personnel in the reception are very polite and helpfull. They upgraded our two delux rooms to suit.
Rooms are cosy and clean. Breakfast is nice. Specifically I should mention about the spa. It does not count to be only spa, thermal treatmant facility as well. You can have sea water in the big pool with water jet massage equipment. In four other pools, you can have jakuzi and water jet facilities that will make you relax compeletly. Spa and massage prices are ok. Everything in this hotel is more than advertised in travel websites. We stopped here mainly as we needed the wifi.
The pool was nice, as the resort was winding down there was only one restaurant open. It was average. Rooms very nice and comfy. The gym was good as well. The saunas are single sex, so if you want to relax with your partner this isn't the place. The wifi worked though which was the main thing. Traveling to Turkey or visiting the fantastic places of the Evros County it is worth visiting this quite, calm, peaceful hotel. You'll enjoy a adorable sea view to Thrakiko Pelagos, even by your bed, since all rooms have sea view.
Polite receptionists, simple rooms with just the basics. Prefer a room at the second or third floor and ask to be allocated close to the reception. Basic american breakfast but you can cook greek traditional coffee by yourself!
It is important that the hotel is located only 5' minutes from the highway. The staff was polite and make their job The WIFI network is very poor and always with technical problems , need to fix it otherwise not use at all. The music at the lobby was very relaxing. The hotel - in other words - needed renovation as soon as possible and management control to find their customers needs.
