Is that even a realistic prospect? Figured it might be nice to try: I'm heading out there on my own and I'm not sure whether I'll meet travelling buddies or not.
If not meeting local women might be fun, though I'm not overly optimistic. In a Moslem country? Get real. The only ones you are likely to mix with are on the game. Russian roulette is a safer game. Tunisia is a Muslim country.
You will not find local women on a bar or club, alcohol is not permitted to Musleems anyway! And although especially in large cities on the North, such as Tunis you may find women dressed on a casual "western" way, working and walking around during day, they almost never are allowd out of home at night, if so they will bhe accompanied by a male member of the family, they still are supposed to be virgins when married, lots of the marriages are set and traditions are followed.
Sometimes when you are in a shop or something, a woman may be brave to start a polite conversation,possibly out of curiosity, but you as a foreign man, NEVER try to chat local woman up! Her brother, or husband or father may be around, and what you are doing may be concidered as an offence to the woman and her family! Those that have replied to this have never been to Tunis and only know about other strict Arabic countries.
