I am not sure if the "traditional massage and spa" belongs to this hotel, however I didnt find another one here in trip advisor. I went there with my fiancee and those prostitutes offered sex to my fiancee while I was having massage in the next room. No words This hotel is a small heaven in an otherwise dirty kuta. It is a bit expensive. Positive: big room, two double beds, tv with a lot of international channels. Sheets were OK, bathroom as well.
Hot shower. Very attentive staff, they carry your bags, want to clean the room and try to help even if you haven't booked with them taxi to airport. Negative: the price and the food at the restaurant which isn't good, but cheap. Construction site next to the hotel. A bit noisy and ugly. The pool looks alright, we didn't use it because of the sea. If you're looking for a clean bed and a comfortabel room go there!
The more I travel the more I understand the people really do make the place. Really good service and they go out of their way to accommodate you.
Location is also great. Ten steps away is a supermarket and a great restaurant called Nugget's Corner. Good breakfast at hotel. Did not try dinner though. The rooms are pretty basic. A little bit tacky designs but nothing that bothers me. The pool area is nothing spectacular but at least they have a pool. All in all a wonderful experience. I had heard that the Melati had some bad reviews but after staying there for two weeks I don't really understand how. First and foremost, the staff were top notch.
Very accommodating and professional. I was blown away by their overall excellence. Rooms were fantastic and well kept. Pool was great and the free breakfast was quite the value. If you're staying in Kuta and you're looking somewhere safe and trustworthy to stay, look no further. No expectations but yes!
