We have booked to go to Cleopatra Superior middle 2 weeks in September. Anyone been before? Any advice on hotel, good places to eat, drink etc. Never been to Kos before so really looking forward to it. Just got back from Cleopatra Superior yesterday.
We have never been to Kos before so didn't know what to expect. We were not disappointed whatsoever, the Cleopatra Superior is a new hotel and is quite modern and contemporary. It is spotlessly clean and well presented. The staff are very helpful if you need it, but at the same time do not bother you in any way and let you get on with your holiday. The hotel is ideally placed, just on the edge of all the bars and restaurants etc.
The pool area is large and clean and there are plenty of sun-beds. The breakfast is basic continental but sufficent. If you want to eat out for breakfast or have a snack in the day, then the Banana Beach Bar on the sea-front is very good with excellent views and a cooling breeze. Carol and Paul will make you very welcome. Most of the restaurants are fine and you are always made welcome there too. The two restaurants we enjoyed the most was Yianni's and the Avli, both were up-market and served fantastic food.
They were a little more expensive but the decor and surroundings were excellent. We enjoyed it so much we are already planning to go back next year for a fortnight, if you want a laid-back holiday or a mad night out, it has it all, you can choose what you want. I am sure that you will enjoy this hotel as it appeared to be one of the better ones.

I haven't been to th Cleopatra Superior but I have been to the Cleopatra - I presume that the owners of that have built the new hotel. I am sure you will have a fabulous time, my friend and I went to the Cleopatra 3 times twice in one year! Kos town is a nice day out.
